Print, not poster
A fine art photographic print is defined by four things: pigment inks rather than dye, 300 g/m² acid-free cotton paper rather than coated stock, a hand signature and number, and an edition that closes. Everything else is reproduction. Andreash editions run from one to five impressions and are retired permanently on sale.
Photography pushed past the document
Moriyama proved grain could carry meaning; Sugimoto proved duration could. The Andreash process starts with photographic capture, then compresses it through montage and layered exposure until the source dissolves into surface — image as material rather than as record.
